A neglected 4000 metre vacant industrial site, comprising of four separate buildings, was completely upgraded into upmarket showrooms, with offices, for high-end brands. A new distribution centre was incorporated for the client on the first floor.
The ground floor was converted into a state of the art bakery to meet the high standards of the food production industry. Electricity needed to be upgraded to accommodate the additional requirements of the new baking equipment.
The specific needs of the various tenants were catered for. The asbestos roof was replaced with a new steel roof, ceilings were insulated and walls skimmed to give a modern contemporary feel.
The external site facing onto the busy Section Street was then given an identity and face lift, repainted and modernised with new shop-fronts and flush glazing entrances. A security access control system was installed.
