OBSERVATORY
DEVELOPMENT TRENDS
Given Cape Town’s mountain range, its typography only allows for a limited amount of development to take place. This has seen development spreading from Cape Town’s CBD outwards. Areas such as Woodstock have seen rejuvenation due to the urban sprawl. Bordering Woodstock, Observatory is recognised to be one of the next areas to see upliftment, investment and area growth from multiple standpoints. It is one of Cape Town’s thriving student and young professional hubs. An increase in residential and commercial development which is in the pipeline will add more life to the already trendy neighbourhood. Below is an indication of some of the development that is to come.
